Peter Myers Golf and Hainsworth Park Golf Club

Peter Myers is the head PGA professional at Hainsworth Park Golf Club in Yorkshire. He kindly gave us some of his time to talk about the Platinum coffee machine in his Pro Golf Shop.

He told us,

"We first had an Espresso Essential coffee machine 6 years ago with the aim of making some money from the Pro Golf Shop. We have just had a replacement machine on our lease and the installation was done brilliantly. No fuss, very efficient. Our customers pop in for a coffee which they then take out onto the first tee with them. The chocolate lattes and other coffees all go down very well."

Fit 4 Less Gym in Kettering

Phil James spoke to us about his recent acquisition of one of our Platinum coin operated coffee machines for his local community gym in Northamptonshire. The gym offers both cardio and resistence equipment, TRX, personal training and has a fantastic boxing room. State of the art equipment and individual programmes help to make this gym one of the centres for its community.

He said,

"We wanted to provide an easy to use one stop drinks station for our customers when they come to the gym. We chose a machine with a water container and coin operation so people can help themselves. We got a very fair deal on the machine and the consumables from Dave. The quality of the machine is great and I am a coffeeholic so I'm a fan."

Ivinghoe Golf Club

Elizabeth and Tom Culley have recently taken on the management of Ivinghoe Golf Club in Bedfordshire, near Luton. They have been aiming to provide more amenities for members and their visitors and wanted to enable kitchen staff to concentrate on cooking. In the past, the club had relied on pots of coffee which were time consuming for staff to prepare and, as we know, can result in a lot of waste, so they started the search for a coffee machine which could be used easily by the club's members.

Having discovered Espresso Essential on-line, they invested in a Platinum bean to cup coffee machine with a water container which allows the machine to be situated where members can serve themselves. Elizabeth told us,

"The machine is proving very popular. It looks good, is very flexible and the coffees taste great. The chocolate and cappuccino drinks are going very well at the moment. We serve about 30 coffees a day and after 4 weeks, the machine is proving profitable.

We were especially impressed by Dave Marshall who was very helpful. The installation was smooth and easy."

The BW Cycling Centre, Bristol

The BW Cycling Centre in Bristol has just opened as a major new hub for serious cyclists. Situated with easy access to the major cycling routes in the UK's first cycling city, it is set to provide a wrap around service for cyclists both regionally and nationally. Oli Beckingsale explains why they chose one of our coin operated Platinum coffee machines for their lounge meeting space.

"Andy Wadsworth and I have just opened our new cycling centre in Bristol. As professional cyclists ourselves, we wanted to provide serious cyclists, including commuters, with a complete service that includes fitness testing and training, specialist physiotherapy, a bike shop and workshop and a hub where cyclists can meet and from where they can set off to ride using the many cycling trails and networks in the area. The Espresso Essential coffee machine is in our lounge and is used as a service for staff and customers with appointments for training and physio or who come in to buy or repair their bikes.

So far, the coffee machine has been great. It was fitted on time, is easy to service and is hassle free. Its been in for a month now and I particularly like the double shot flat white option on the machine. I've always been a coffee addict!"

Espresso Essential would like to wish Oli and Andy well in their new venture.

The Wall's Club, Barnwood

The Wall's Club, Barnwood in Gloucester has been running for over 40 years, as a sports and social club for Unilever's ice cream factory workforce. Today it continues to fulfill this role but also offers membership to other individuals and groups and operates as the hub of local social life.

With a large hall which caters for over 300 people, weddings and corporate entertainment are a regular feature of the club's calendar and the building is used by skittles teams, indoor bowls, bingo and Ce Roc and Line dancing groups.

The Wall's Club has recently purchased an Espresso Essential coffee machine and already the skittles team are very keen on the hot chocolate drinks that it produces! Lynne Curtis helped choose the machine and says:

"We chose the machine because of the taste of the coffees and the stylish quality of the machine."

She anticipates plenty of work for the coffee machine as the club caters for over 40 people every evening and hosts weddings every weekend.
